Recent Events

Aside from the usual hustle and bustle of our daily lives, here's what we've been up to:

We spent a week in the San Juan Islands with Matt's family. It really was an exceptional vacation. Here are a few photos, but there will be more to follow.

Upon returning to Wenatchee, I spent an unexpected day in Twisp, 2 hours north of here in the mountains, celebrating a mother friend of mine in her last weeks of pregnancy...yes, another mother blessing. It was beautiful.

Then on to 2 days at lake Chelan with Sam and Arlo and Sherri and friends. It was great fun. We were sandy and lake-tired after camping and being in the sun. It felt good. Sam had a blast with all the other kids running everywhere. Water skiing and more kayaking....a real summer adventure.

The last few days have been fairly normal with lots of house showing...thus lots of cleaning and time away from the house. It is really getting to me and still no offers. I can feel that we are close, but the waiting is really killing us.

Arlo is now crawling so VERY, VERY fast and today he stood without holding onto anything...a very solid stand. He now has 6 teeth and is trying to communicate with sign language and grunting! He's a little boy! He also has a cold and that is making for some long nights.

I will have more stories and images to share soon. We have two showings tomorrow morning and a going away party on Sunday....
