Sock Update

Here is the first in the pair to be completed. As I mentioned before, I realized I wasn't going to have enough of the chunky natural colored yard to make two complete socks, so I found this great off-white wool to add in. I actually really like the irregular stripes and I think the sock turned out pretty good. The toe has some issues due to needles being pulled out more than once by a certain little baby....but I managed to finish it and it fits me quite well. I think I will actually keep this pair of socks!
Next project: (after the other sock) Socks for the boys made from a yummy evergreen wool and maybe matching hats....

Amanda - I have some wool navy blue patterned yarn that is for socks... I don't think I'm going to use it (I'm still a beginner knitter, and am sticking to scarves and pot-holders). Would you like me to send it to you? - Zondra (ps - your socks look great!)

Hi Amanda!

That is really frustrating that Sam's teacher said that. It is amazing the influence that ignorant people can have on our childrens' self esteem. How awesome is it that you and Sam have such a terrific relationship that he felt comfortable telling you about it and that you were so in-tune with him that you could find out the underlying cause of the accidents! Anyway, I loved the movie!
